J. Mark Fisher has been a licensed Florida attorney in Northwest Florida since 1985, with a successful practice focused on the field of Estate Planning. He lectures statewide to the public and to Florida Bar Members for their Continuing Legal Education credit, on topics of Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Avoidance of Inheritance Taxes and the use of the Living Revocable Trust.
In 1996, J. Mark Fisher published his first book, Estate Planning for Florida Residents. His second book, published in 2005, Spending Grandma’s Inheritance, contains stories about families, inheriting money, control of parents and their assets, and why some children are left out.
J. Mark Fisher teaches classes on Estate Planning at Fort Walton Beach campus of the University of West Florida. He has hosted a weekly radio talk show on estate planning law since 1994. (Wednesdays and Fridays in the Pensacola area on WCOA 1370 AM and WEBY 1330 AM). His practice has offices in Panama City, Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach.
He earned his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law (1984), and his B.S. degree in Finance from Florida State University School of Business (1981). He is a graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School.
