Director, has been a cardiologist in Panama City since 1977 with Cardiology Associates, P.A until his retirement in 2005. He received his Baccalaureate and Medical Degree from Emory University. His residency and fellowship training were at Cincinnati General Hospital. He served as a Battalion Surgeon with the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971 and continued his military service at the Naval Coastal Systems Laboratory, Panama City, Florida. He has served in several leadership positions with the Florida Society of Internal Medicine, the Florida Medical Association, the Florida Physicians Association, the Florida Chapter of the American College of Physicians and the Bay County Medical Society. He served as Chief of Medicine at both Gulf Coast Community Hospital and Bay Medical Center. He served as Chief of the Medical Staff at Bay Medical Center where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees. Dr. Cook serves Bay County through several civic and philanthropic activities.
