Neal Dunn, M.D., has been an urologist in Panama City for 20 years. He is the President and Managing Partner of Panama City Urology Center and Bay Regional Cancer Center, an eight-physician practice with 60 employees. He also serves as the Managing Partner of the Florida Urologic Physicians Network, a group of 66 urologists with over 600 employees representing practices throughout North Florida. Dr. Dunn received his baccalaureate from Washington and Lee University and his M.D. from George Washington University. He completed his Urological Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and served as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Army for 11 years before moving to Panama City. He has sat on the Board of Governors and Executive Committee of the Florida Medical Association and Board of Directors of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Dunn has been President of the County Medical Society and Chief of Staff of Gulf Coast Hospital and currently is a director of the Bay Medical Center Foundation. He sits on the OncoAssist Advisory Board for Med Trust as an expert in Genitourinary Cancers. He has been named to America’s Top Physicians and America’s Top Surgeons. He continues to serve on numerous corporate and community boards, several as Chairman or CEO.
Dr. Dunn is also a leader in local, state and national politics, where he represents health issues. He is active in several philanthropies including the American Cancer Society, the Science and Discovery Center of Bay County, Bay Cares free clinics and the free school physical exam program. He has a subspecialty interest in advanced prostate cancer and was a member of the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s Advisory Board. He currently sits on the Prostate Cancer Advisory Council of Florida and chairs the Florida Medical Association’s Council on Legislation.
