Jim Looker

is Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer of Summit Bank where he is responsible for the oversight of all lending operations including consumer, commercial, real estate and loan operations. He has been in banking for over 28 years with a primary focus on lending, cash management and business development. Prior to joining Summit Bank, Mr. Looker was President of Lending for the Florida Panhandle for Colonial Bank for 18 months. Prior to that he was the Senior Lender for Regions Bank in the Florida Panhandle from 1999-2006. Mr. Looker has had an active role in community development serving as a Board Member of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, the United Way, Panama City Rotary Club, Gulf Coast Community College Foundation, Bay Arts Alliance, Panama City Employees Pension Board and Panama City Marine Institute. Mr. Looker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Stetson University and is a graduate of LSU Graduate School of Banking. (NMLS ID# 813266)
