Tommy Tait

Tommy Tait (formerly of Whitney Bank/Hancock Bank) is a seasoned banking veteran and a native of the Pensacola/Milton area. Tait has long-standing relationships in the area’s banking and finance sectors, and is also former CFO of the West Florida Medical Center Clinic.

That 160-physician group included ten satellite locations in addition to an 11-story central building and cancer institute. This connection with the area’s medical community has enabled him to develop close ties with northwest Florida’s physician community.

On a statewide level, Tait has been selected President of the Florida Bankers Association (FBA) for the 2012-2013 term. (Click to read more). FBA is one of Florida’s oldest trade groups working on behalf of Florida banks and promotes the banking industry through advocacy and education.

Tait is a graduate of Pensacola State College, attended the University of West Florida and is a graduate of the School of Banking of the South – LSU. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve before beginning his banking career. (NMLS ID# 939412)
