In her capacity as Vice President and Private Banker, Amanda Jowers primarily services Summit Bank’s client needs, manages personal and commercial loan and deposit requests, and acts as a cash management and remote capture specialist. Since joining Summit Bank when it opened in 2008, Jowers helped the bank grow to $95 million in assets during its first two years.
Jowers appreciates Summit Bank’s hands-on approach to concierge banking, where she’s given the tools to assist her customers with all their financial needs, allowing her to get to know them on a personal level.
During her 16-year banking career, Jowers has managed a loan portfolio in excess of $30 million, and has held the title of Top Residential Loan Production Officer for Bay County in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
Jowers earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Auburn University, and an MBA from Florida State University.
She is an active member of the Junior League of Panama City and a graduate of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Bay Class of 2008.
As a teen, Jowers was a principal (full member) in the Montgomery Ballet and dazzled audiences with her performance as Clara, the lead dancer in The Nutcracker.
Jowers spent her summers visiting the Florida Panhandle, and since moving here has found that life in the Sunshine State suits her. She and her husband spend their weekends supporting their kids’ athletic activities. And she enjoys fitting in a recreational run, participating in local 10K races. (NMLS ID# 638646)
