She works closely with entrepreneurs and physicians who are often focused on the demands of their occupations and busy lives and want to be able to trust someone with building and managing their wealth. She also works closely with Southern Company employees and retirees, possessing a technical knowledge of their benefits package and a shared understanding of their values. Amanda guides clients through the financial planning process to clarify what they want to achieve with their assets. With a practical approach to personal finances and a disciplined approach to saving and investing, Amanda designs comprehensive strategies for her clients that reinforce their financial confidence and, in turn, allows them to focus on enjoying their life.
With more than 20 years of experience in the banking and financial services industries, Amanda has experienced both challenging and rewarding market cycles and offers clients a seasoned perspective that helps enable them to achieve their financial goals. Prior to joining Raymond James as a financial advisor, Amanda managed a large commercial loan portfolio and earned the title of Top Residential Loan Production Officer for Bay County. Amanda has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification which provides her with the knowledge and tools to understand how to develop specific strategies designed to minimize taxes, preserve assets, help foster potential growth and transfer wealth. She is also an Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠, a designation which signifies a high level of consulting expertise with investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning issues. She earned an MBA from Florida State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University.
A leader in the community, Amanda was awarded the Spirit of Katharine Hepburn Award in 2014 by the Junior League of Panama City in recognition of her contributions to the organization’s many programs, projects and partnerships that improve the physical, emotional and educational well-being of children and families.
Amanda and her husband, Jason, reside in Panama City Beach with their two children. A native of Alabama, Amanda appreciates all that life in the Sunshine State has to offer. She enjoys recreational running, but she and her husband spend most of their weekends cheering on their son in baseball and golf and their daughter in gymnastics. As a teen, Amanda was a principal (full member) in the Montgomery Ballet and was awarded the lead role of “Clara” in The Nutcracker.
